MELISSA PARIS is one of America's leading female motorcycle racers.
She's also a race team owner and mum to a five-month old son.
And after discovering that she was pregnant last year, Paris continued to race right up until she could no longer fit into her leathers.
Speaking to Refinery29, she said: "I was so worried about what people were going to say, and honestly I didn't want to have to hear about it.
"I talked to my midwives and explained what was going on — obviously I didn't want to take any unnecessary risks."
