Ducati UK has announced its Riding Experiences programme for 2023, with a particular focus on the race track.
Ducati Riding Experiences (DRE) continues to grow in 2023, and in the UK the programme for this year has now been announced by Ducati UK.
Ducati UK will make the debut of the DRE Racetrack Academy in the UK this year. This ‘experience’ offers participants the chance to ride fully-prepared Ducati Panigale sports bikes at Silverstone, the home of the MotoGP British Grand Prix (which last year was won by Ducati-mounted Francesco Bagnaia).
The DRE Racetrack Academy offers more than simply a ride around a great race track on a fast bike, though, as an “almost one-to-one level of guidance,” Ducati says, will be provided by one of a selection of top-level riding talent. This includes Ducati MotoE and MotoGP test rider, and multiple-time Italian Superbike Champion, Michele Pirro, as well as ex-MotoGP rider and one-time Grand Prix winner, Karel Abraham, and multiple time WorldSBK race winner with Ducati, Chaz Davies.
Further, purchasing your place on the DRE Racetrack Academy gets you a stay in the Hilton Silverstone Hotel, a track walk, and an Italian-style dinner with the instructors.
The UK DRE Racetrack Academy will take place on 16-18 May and is open to 60 participants.
In addition to the DRE Racetrack Academy, Ducati UK will also host three track days in 2023, open to any Ducati owners regardless of experience. These will be at Donington on 23 May, and at Silverstone on 27 June and 8 August.
