Made from fibre-reinforced plastic, the kit weighs in at 7kg and comes with everything needed to transform you bike from retro naked, to a sleek café racer. It’s reported on the MK Designs website that the kit can be fitted in as little as three hours, and the bike already needs to be fitted with Royal Enfield optional clip-on handlebars, although that is about all that is needed that isn’t supplied.
Other than that, you’ll need to use the supplied lowering kit for the bars, again, that is provided in the box, but other than that it all looks fairly straightforward.
The FF650 Café R kit comprises the plastics, nose cone, side panels, and lower fairing. The new single headlight, and the kit to enable you to lower the bars.
For those living in India, the kit is fairly good value too, coming in $460, although if you live abroad, it’s worth checking with MK Design as to what the final cost will be. International buys will have to pay shipping costs, VAT, and possibly import duties for the item, to find out what they are it’s best to get on the MK Designs website and drop them a message.
