Trackday biker dies at Snetterton

A BIKER attending a Hottrax trackday has died following a three-bike incident in a morning session.

The biker, who has yet to be named, was involved in a crash in the novice group. Police have confirmed that the accident happened at 9:45am. The two other riders involved in the crash were taken to hospital, one suffering neck injuries and the other suffering a broken arm.

The owners of the Snetterton circuit, MotorSport Vision, have said: "We regret to report that an accident took place this morning at the track. Despite receiving immediate medical care at the scene he sadly succumbed to his injuries.

"The circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated and we are assisting with the relevant authorities. Everyone at MSV would like to extend their deepest condolences to the rider's family and friends."

The company was not releasing any further information until next of kin were informed. Hottrax provide full instructions and a safety briefing to every rider who attends their trackdays.
