Yip - had a go on one bike a few years back with a full electronics package and didnt like it. I have 4 bikes which are all gloriously analog and more than happy with them. The side effect of all of this tech is, the price....

Okay. You need electricity to create a spark. Diesels need lights. Things advance. Do we go back to cable operated non-ABS and carbide for lights?
Yes; overly complicated systems can be a bind. Alter something and the system can cut your performance to 'Get-yo-hme-mode'.
Where is the line drawn? No electronic ignition? Indicators? The list goes on. Remember the Tale of the Monkey's Paw

the more the better to focus on actual fast riding and not getting killed, esp on-track. No one can control a modern superbike safely without it - probably true for a lot of non-superbikes as well. My ex-AMA SuperStock racebike has added TC and quickshifter. Like saying P-51s were better than F-35s.
