Three members of a motorcycle club were attacked by another group of motorcyclists, including one member being stabbed.

The attack took place on the A24 in Findon Valley at around 19:30 on the night of 8 October 2022, according to The Argus, and involved three members of the Vikings Motorcycle Club being attacked.

The Mirror reports that the attack is believed to have been carried out by a “rival biker gang”, and that the three Vikings MC members who were attacked had become separated from the rest of the group earlier on. A police statement said that “One man had serious stab wounds,” the Mirror reports, while the other two Vikings MC members had also been assaulted.

The first people on the scene were able to administer first aid, according to media reports, until an ambulance arrived. The victims were then taken to hospital. As yet, there has been no updated on their respective conditions.

By the time police arrived at the scene, the suspects had fled the area. But, later, seven men were arrested in connection with the attack, and currently remain in police custody as enquiries continue.

“Officers arrived at the scene to find a man with stab wounds,” a Sussex Police spokesperson said. “Two other men had also been assaulted.”

“Seven arrests have since been made, involving colleagues from both Thames Valley and Warwickshire police, after the suspects had left the scene prior to the arrival of emergency services."
