BODY ARMOUR specialists Knox have released a new piece of protective clothing, which incorporates a CE-approved back-protector into a zip-up gilet.
The FastBack features a back protector that covers the spine and shoulder blades and is manufactured by Knox to surpass the new EN1621-2 standard (Level 2). The back protector utilises a Venturi cooling system, a simple design consisting of ridges that act like chimneys to draw hot air up and away from the body. The ridges also act as extra energy absorbers as they compress and change shape in an impact.
The Knox FastBack is produced in a wide variety of sizes (from small to X -Large) and sells for £59.99.
