Museo Ducati hosts Hailwood exhibition

MUSEO DUCATI is hosting its first temporary exhibition following its revamp in 2016.

'The Desmo Twins of young Hailwood' will showcase three race bikes built between 1958 and 1960 by Fabio Taglioni and ridden by none other than Mike Hailwood. Built at the specific request of Mike's father, the Desmo Twin 125cc, 250cc and 350cc models were the bikes on which Hailwood achieved his formulative victories. They also represent a period of creativity by the Romagna-born engineer.

The Bologna museum's exhibition forms part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of 'Mike the Bike's' win at the 1978 Tourist Trophy. It's the first of many temporary displays and will run until September 15th this year.
