I AM an IAMs rider. It just doesn't have the same ring to it as the dog food, does it?
But nevermind the nutricious pet munch, IAM also stands for the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
And the Solent branch of this fine organisation is offering young riders the chance to brush up on their road skills, before they brush up against the road.
On June 30th, IAM RoadSmart Solent is inviting riders aged under 24 to Portsmouth College, where they can learn advanced riding techniques, practise skills under the watchful eye of an observer, and participate in a group ride across Portsmouth.
Throughout the day riders will receive feedback from qualified IAM observers.
The free session will run from 9am until 1pm, and everyone from L-plate twist'n'go riders to full A licence holders are welcome.
