Guy Martin’s latest land-speed record saw him hit 103.6mph in a rather surprising vehicle
EX-TT racer and TV personality Guy Martin has set a new land-speed record over the weekend, after hitting 103.6mph while driving a 1,000hp, 2,500Nm JCB Dieselmax tractor for a Channel 4 documentary.

The JCB Fastrac Guy drove was modified but still resembles a tractor – unlike the previous record held by Top Gear with a machine that looked more dragster then tractor!
The engine was uprated with common-rail injection, a different crankshaft, six-speed gearbox and high-tech electric supercharger.
