Recall round-up: Ducati, Suzuki, GasGas, Aprilia issue recalls for a number of motorcycles

2019 Ducati Panigale V4R

AS THE YEAR draws to a close, it’s not without its fair share of recalls.

Over the last two weeks alone, recalls have been issued by Suzuki, GasGas, Harley-Davidson, Ducati and Aprilia, for issues that include fuel leaks and dodgy brake pads.

So, if you own any of the bikes below, expect an official recall letter soon…

Ducati Panigale and Hypermotard:

Ducati is recalling 2018 Panigale 1299 FE, Panigale V4 (all versions), Panigale 959 and Hypermotard 959 models. On specific vehicles, the friction material on the rear brake pads may detach from the backing plate, causing the rear brake to become less effective, which could lead to accidents.
