BMW marks 10,000 G310 RR sales with new limited edition model

A decade-defining milestone deserves a bit of flair, and BMW Motorrad has done just that with a sharper, sportier, and more exclusive take on its smallest supersport.

BMW Motorrad India has launched the G310 RR Limited Edition to celebrate selling over 10,000 units of the model in the region.

Available from today across all Indian BMW Motorrad dealerships, the new limited-run model brings racetrack-inspired style to the brand’s most accessible sportsbike.

Priced at INR 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the G310 RR Limited Edition sits at the top of BMW’s small-capacity sportsbike range. While the mechanicals remain unchanged from the standard bike, the Limited Edition wears a set of bold new decals across the bodywork and wheels, clearly taking design cues from its big brother, the S1000 RR. Each bike also gets exclusive ‘1/310’ badging, marking its limited-production status.

The aerodynamic fairing and oddly-named “Champion’s Dome” design give the RR a more aggressive stance, while details like gold USD forks, an aluminium swingarm, and Michelin Pilot Street hoops add both style and substance. The fully faired design and Ram Air intake channel airflow efficiently, keeping the single-cylinder motor cool even when it’s being worked hard on twisty roads.

Underneath the fairing, the G310 RR’s 312cc liquid-cooled single produces 33bhp at 9,700rpm and 20lb ft at 7,700rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch for smoother downshifts. Riders can toggle between Track, Urban, Sport, and Rain modes to suit conditions, with the Ride-by-Wire throttle being adjusted along with the traction control for each mode.

Up in the cockpit there is a 5-inch TFT display that delivers crisp visuals and mode-specific layouts. A two-channel ABS system with rear wheel lift-off protection ensures stable braking performance, even under hard deceleration.

The G 310 RR Limited Edition is available in Cosmic Black and Polar White, with flexible finance options from BMW India Financial Services. Every model comes with a three-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, extendable up to five years, along with 24/7 roadside assistance for added peace of mind.
