BMW gives its F900 GS, R1300 GS models a stealth look, but only in France
BMW France has revealed special Dark Editions of its F900 GS and R1300 GS models, with cheaper prices included.

It doesn’t get much better than a new livery and a lower price than the standard variant, but that’s what BMW France is offering with its new Dark Editions of the F900 GS and R1300 GS.
The two bikes are not new models, but rather a limited-run of the current bikes, just with a stealthy appearance. They are both available until the end of September at the discounted price, before reverting back to the standard RRP.

Starting with the F900 GS, it features a water-cooled two-cylinder engine that produces 103.5bhp at 8,500rpm and 68 Ib ft of torque 6,750rpm. In its new Dark Edition, which is specific to the French market, the F900 GS gets a Black Storm Metallic livery and the Dynamic Pack, which comprises Pro riding modes and the Shifter Pro quickshifter.
The BMW F900 GS Dark Edition is on offer from €12,500 (around £10,780), instead of its usual price in France which is €15,075 (£13,000). Alternatively, you can pay as little as €149 (£128) a month with no down payment required.

The R1300 GS is BMW’s flagship adventure model and it comes with a Comfort Pack (includes an electric windscreen, a passenger comfort kit and centre stand), black spoked wheels, and the Triple Black colours.
The BMW R1300 GS Dark Edition is available from €19,900 (roughly £17,170) instead of €22,645 (£19,535). That marks significant savings of €2,745 (£2,370) which includes VAT.
Both machines will be presented at the Alpes Aventure Motofestival in Barcelonnette, France, from September 5 to the 7.
