Blade Group Shuts Down Harley-Davidson Dealership in Oxford
Blade Motorcycles has called time on its Harley-Davidson dealership in Oxford, with a view to strengthening its business

Blade Group has confirmed the surprising move which sees it call time on its dealership in Oxford, however, it will not be limiting its partnership with Harley-Davidson overall, in fact, it is aiming to strengthen it as all business from the Oxford office will be handed over to its Harley-Davidson dealership in Cheltenham.
The Blade Group, with this decision to close its doors at the Oxford-based dealer, will continue to have five dealerships across the UK including two in Cheltenham.
Its most premier Harley-Davidson dealership, the Cheltenham office will receive all orders currently made by customers at the Oxford dealership, however, a statement from Blade Group confirmed that all of its “planned activities” linked to the Oxford dealer for 2025 will go ahead.

The statement said: “Harley-Davidson UK & Ireland wish to share the important news that the Blade Group is consolidating its Harley-Davidson business. As a result, the Blade Group has closed its Harley-Davidson dealership in Oxford. This decision did not come lightly and is the result after a period of serious consideration.
“The team at Oxford Harley-Davidson are hugely grateful to all its customers throughout the time it has been operating and would like to thank everyone for their support. Customers holding a current order with Oxford Harley-Davidson will be handed over to Blade's Cheltenham Harley-Davidson team, who offer the same level of outstanding service just a little further down the road and will be in touch.
“H.O.G. Oxford Chapter will continue to run the full season of planned activities for 2025 and Blade looks forward to fully supporting the chapter from Cheltenham Harley-Davidson.”
The Blade Group’s other dealerships include two Honda dealerships in Abingdon and Stratford, along with two Triumph dealers in Stratford and Cheltenham. The decision to close the doors to the Oxford dealer sees a 30-year run end after it first opened in 1995.
