Fancy bagging £10,000 to spend on bike goodies this summer? Well, forget heading to your bank and asking for a loan and get down to your nearest Yamaha dealership!

Yamaha has launched its big summer test ride initiative, which will see one lucky test pilot walking away with £10,000 to spend in store. That could go towards riding kit, a new or used bike, servicing or even bolt-on performance parts or touring essentials. Basically, if you can hand over money at a Yamaha dealership in return for goods and services, this prize gives you 10,000 reasons to be happy.

Riders looking to get a head start in the prize draw can boost their chances by trying out multiple bikes from Yamaha’s extensive range, as there is no limit to the number of test rides you can take, with each and every test ride counting as an entry into the draw. The 2026 Supersport, Sport Touring, Adventure, and Sport Heritage ranges all qualify for an entry, as do any Y-AMT equipped bikes from within those ranges.

Riders simply need to book and complete a qualifying test ride at a participating Yamaha dealer between June 1 and August 31, 2026, and they'll automatically be entered into the draw. Better still, there's no purchase necessary, and if you'd rather skip the test ride altogether, Yamaha is even offering a free postal-style entry route via email.

The £10,000 prize comes in the form of retail credit, which can be put towards a single purchase of official Yamaha products. That means it could knock a serious chunk off the price of a new bike, cover a garage full of accessories, or finally justify splashing out on the riding kit you've been eyeing up for months. If your shopping list tops £10,000 you'll simply pay the difference, while purchases below that value won't generate any remaining credit.

With Yamaha's 2026 range including everything from the new YZF-R9 and MT family to the Tracer sports-tourers, Ténéré adventure bikes and XSR retros, there's plenty of temptation to keep going back for another ride… and another entry into the hat.

Entries close on August 31, with one lucky rider walking away £10,000 richer in Yamaha credit shortly afterwards.
