THE worlds bike racing and weightlifting collided this month, as TTS took the Kardesign Suzuki Hayabusa to Turweston airfield, for a drag race against Guintoli’s 200bhp Suzuki GSX-R100.

Hall, a self-confessed adrenalin addict, makes no secret about being a fan of Suzuki’s big-bore sports bike, and he simultaneously becomes the only person on the planet to make the ‘Busa look small. He’s up against stiff competition though, as French-East-Midlander Guintoli is famously fast, and riding his trackday and training bike pretty much unstoppable on the runway. Guintoli is also a fan of Suzuki's famous sports bike, having been presented with a Yohimuira replica last year from Suzuki as a gift.

The TTS supercharged Hayabusa, also known as the SuperBusa, was built by TTS Performance but styled by legendary graphic design maestro Kar Lee of Kardesign. Its Rotrex supercharger and highly modified engine help it to produce an eye-watering 380bhp and 197 lb-ft of torque. Internally the engine features strengthened internals including pistons, conrods, and clutch, with a bespoke aluminium plenum and intercooler helping the 1,340cc engine to breathe.

And this bike isn’t just a one-off bike to help boost the profile of the company that built it, TTS is actually putting the SuperBusa into production. A limited run of 40 bikes, starting at £50,000 and rising should the new owner fancy something a little more special for their local bike night rideout!
