TVS Racing takes TRIC championship to Europe with Misano debut
TVS Racing has taken its international one-make championship to Europe for the first time, with 14 riders competing at Italy’s Misano World Circuit.

TVS Racing has taken its international racing championship into Europe for the first time, with the 2026 TVS Racing International Championship (TRIC) making its debut at Italy’s Misano World Circuit.

The event, held from October 2 to 4, saw 14 riders representing 12 nationalities and four continents compete on race-prepared versions of the TVS Apache RR 310. The move marks the latest expansion of TRIC, which has previously visited Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Indonesia.
For TVS, the European round is another step in its efforts to build the brand beyond its Indian home market, with the company now selling motorcycles in more than 90 international markets. TVS also moved more into the spotlight in Europe over the past few years, after completing its acquisition of Norton in 2020.

TRIC began in 2022 as a predominantly Asian championship, but TVS says its rider pool has now grown to include competitors from 16 countries.
The Misano event provided the latest opportunity for the riders to compete against an international field, rather than simply racing within their respective domestic championships.
The race-spec Apache RR 310 used by the riders is considerably more focused than the road-going machine. TVS says the bike has an upgraded aerodynamic package, more power and revised riding dynamics.
The race bike has also been used to set a number of circuit records in Asia. In 2023, it reached 215.9kph (134mph) and recorded a 1:49.74 lap at Thailand's Chang International Circuit.
Those figures were improved to 216km/h and 1:48.44 in 2024, while the bike also managed a 2:20.80 lap at Malaysia's Sepang International Circuit. For reference, a fast Moto3 lap at Sepang is in the region of 2:10secs.

The Misano round therefore puts the Apache RR 310 race package into a rather different environment, with the circuit forming part of Europe's established motorcycle racing scene.
TVS Motor's Head of Premium Business, Vimal Sumbly, described the move as a significant step for the company's racing programme, pointing to its development from an Asia-focused series into a championship with a genuinely international rider base.
The European expansion also ties into TVS's wider push with the Apache brand. The company says the Apache range has now passed seven million customers worldwide, while its Apache Owners Group has more than 500,000 members.
