Tom Sykes and Markus Reiterberger have officially unveiled the BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team colours ahead of the 2019 World Superbike championship.

On the final day of European pre-season testing at Portimao, the team’s 2019 livery was revealed in a pitlane presentation showing off BMW’s iconic look on the all-new S1000RR. The designs includes streaks of red and blue running through the matte white finish.

The team will be run by Shaun Muir Racing to reignite a previous collaboration when the team made its WorldSBK debut in 2016. After two seasons running Aprilia machines, SMR returns to BMW to run its factory effort in the production-based series for 2019.

Both Sykes and Reiterberger will complete the final day of the pre-season Portimao test today before packing up to head to Australia for the 2019 opener at Phillip Island on February 22-24.
