Roberts to front BBC MotoGP coverage
Matt Roberts to take over the role vacated by Jennie Gow
Matt Roberts will front the presentation of BBC's coverage of the MotoGP championship in 2011.
Roberts has grown to be a favourite of viewers and the 33 year old will step up in to the position vacated by Jennie Gow.
"I'm absolutely delighted to have been asked to front the MotoGP coverage on the BBC this year.”
Gow replaced Suzi Perry at the start of the 2010 season, with Roberts moving to the head of the coverage Azi Farni - a former reporter for the Official MotoGP website - will take his place in the pit-lane.
"I'm really looking forward to working with Azi Farni, who is an established, enthusiastic and highly respected reporter, and it is always great fun to work with Charlie and Steve, who need no introduction!
"I'm convinced we will make a strong team and most importantly cover every aspect of what promises to be a truly memorable year in the most prestigious class of motorcycle racing." continued Roberts.
The full team of Parrish, Cox, Roberts and Farni will start from the first round of the season at Qatar on March 20th.
