PICS: Valentino Rossi's Mugello helmet
Valentino Rossi goes for a bright tricolour look for his latest one-off helmet design.
Valentino Rossi unveiled this special one-off helmet livery on Saturday morning at his home Mugello MotoGP.
For their latest creation, AGV state that Rossi and designer Aldo Drudi chose 'a new and bright livery that interprets the Italian flag motif like never before'.
It features 'broad brush strokes, with… the white, red and green flanked by complementary colours like orange, fluorescent pink, blue and classic yellow.
'On the back of the helmet, under the spoiler, are the sun and moon with a thin yellow line on a white background; under these, a hand-drawn 46.'

Unfortunately for The Doctor he wasn't able to take the new design to a top ten place in FP3, improving from 18th on Friday to 13th, meaning he will take part in Qualifying 1 this afternoon.
Rossi was unbeaten at Mugello from 2002-2008 and finished third, from pole, last season.
