Pic Special: 2010 MotoGP Qatar Night Test

Take a sneak peek behind the scenes at pre-season MotoGP test

FORMER MOTOGP World Champion Casey Stoner topped the timesheets at the final pre-season MotoGP tests at Qatar, attributing his success to a series of technical improvements on the Australian's GP10 Ducati.

“I am really happy with the test and the work we have done right up to tonight. In the first Sepang test we had a few things to work out but we have made constant progress,” said Stoner.

Ducati has introduced a new big-bang engine into the team's Desmosedici racer, which Stoner believes is the key to the faster times.

“I like the new engine a lot, it is more manageable and I am pleased to see the other Ducati riders, especially Nicky confirming that with fast times."

Things are hotting up, but anything can happen when the lights go green on April 11th, at Losail circuit, Qatar.
