MotoGP Gossip: Rossi’s DTM race “promise”

- Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi has “promised” DTM boss Gerhard Berger that he will take part in a race in the series as a guest driver at Misano (DTM)

- Honda is rumoured to be interested in signing MotoGP rider Johann Zarco for an assault on the 2020 World Superbike championship (Marca) 

- Resurfacing works have begun at Silverstone ahead of the MotoGP round in August, following last year’s cancellation (SpeedWeek) 

- Andrea Dovizioso has reflected on his DTM debut at Misano (GPOne) 

- Dani Pedrosa will appear at the Goodwood revival in September, making a one-off racing return in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy (Crash.net)
