THE FINAL MotoGP test session for 2010 saw Fiat Yamaha rider Jorge Lorezno top the time sheets.
Sunday's race winner, Lorenzo, posted a lap time of 1:56.2. Quicker than his fastest lap from the race, 1'57.524.
Lorenzo's potential team mate for 2011, Ben Spies made his first laps on the next years factory Yamaha machinery.
The Yamaha on test was the first version of the machine in preparation for next season. Ducati, Suzuki and Honda also tested new components for their bikes mainly; fairing, chassis and suspension upgrades.
The session saw the return of Hiroshi Aoyama after he suffered an injured vertebrae in practice at the British MotoGP from Silverstone. Former MotoGP competitor and Alstare Suzuki rider, Sylain Guintoli returned to turn in some laps in place of the injured Alvaro Bautista.
