Lamborghini announced as Pramac title sponsor

Following the departure of Alma, Pramac Ducati will have a famous new title sponsor for this weekend's Austin MotoGP round; Automobili Lamborghini.

Alma's name was removed from the team livery in Argentina due to recent tax allegations faced by the company and will be replaced by the Lamborghini logo in Texas.

As part of the agreement, Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia will each have a Huracán, with three Urus models for the team staff - all of them personalised with Pramac Racing’s logos - for travel during the race weekend.

On Friday evening, riders and staff will also be present at the showroom of the Lamborghini dealer in Austin for a meet and greet with guests and fans.

"Running a Grand Prix as important as the United States, with the Lamborghini logo next to the Pramac one on our fairing, is a source of great satisfaction for us," said team principal Paolo Campinoti.

"We are proud to have Automobili Lamborghini as title sponsor of the Grand Prix of the Americas and this underlines that the relationship between Lamborghini and Pramac goes beyond the feeling of deep friendship that binds me to Stefano Domenicali".

Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, added: "What better occasion than the Austin GP to confirm the important collaboration between Automobili Lamborghini and Pramac Racing.

"The main objective of this collaboration is to create a system of Made in Italy excellence. The United States is the ideal place to develop, consolidate and communicate the concept of great Italian manufacturing. The synergy with Pramac goes in this direction."

Pramac and Lamborghini have previously collaborated on a team launch at the Manifattura Lamborghini, a special livery for the 2018 Italian Grand Prix and the livery for the 2019 season designed by Mitja Borkert, director of the Lamborghini Centro Stile.
