Dutch MotoGP - Full Qualifying Results
Full Qualifying results and grid line-up for the 2019 Dutch MotoGP at Assen, round 8 of 19.
Petronas Yamaha rookie Quartararo becomes the youngest rider to claim back-to-back MotoGP poles, with a new lap record at Assen.
The jubilant Frenchman then set his airbag off as he punched the air in celebration!
Vinales (Yamaha) and Rins (Suzuki) will complete Sunday's front row.
Marquez lost one of his flying laps when he was forced to make a big save at turn one and, despite a tow behind Dovizioso, missed out on the front row for the first time this season.
Ducati had a tough session, with their top rider Petrucci in seventh.
Rossi was unable to progress beyond Qualifying 1 and will start Sunday's race from just 14th on the grid.
Jorge Lorenzo has been ruled out of the remainder of the Assen weekend and next weekend's German round after fracturing two vertebrae during FP1 on Friday.
UPDATE: Oliveira handed a three-place grid penalty for being slow on the racing line and disturbing another rider.
