Dixon: 'When we find right set-up, I'll be fast'

'I know that when we find the right set-up for the bike I will be fast, but right now I can’t show my full potential' - Jake Dixon.

After a 'character building' full-time Moto2 debut in Qatar, Jake Dixon heads for the brand-new challenge of Termas de Rio Hondo this weekend.

The British Superbike title runner-up suffered a big highside during FP1 at Losail, then fell early in the race after gaining ten places on the opening lap.

Although Dixon has no prior knowledge of this weekend's Argentine circuit, his top priority remains finding a comfortable set-up for the KTM chassis.

"We travel to Argentina with the sole aim of continuing to improve and with our heads high after the first race. I don’t think it will be a hard circuit to learn, I have watched videos and done a lot of laps on the games console," Dixon said.

"I know that when we find the right set-up for the bike I will be fast, but right now I can’t show my full potential. We are still adapting to the bike and how it behaves, but I have a great team behind me and together we will get there.”
