Austin MotoGP - Free Practice (4) Results

With FP3 cancelled due to lightning, FP4 was the first session of the day and first wet action of the season.

However, improving conditions meant riders began switching to slicks with ten minutes remaining, when the best lap times were set - and Marquez broke clear of the field.

Qualifying 1, for those outside the top ten after third free practice, will now get underway.

Marquez has won on all six of MotoGP's previous visits to COTA.
