The United States will have representation on the grid for this weekend’s Laguna Seca WorldSBK event after all thanks to MotoAmerica front-runner JD Beach officially confirming his place on the entry list.

The 27-year-old will add a sixth Yamaha to the grid in California this weekend aboard the Attack Performance Estenson Racing -prepared R1 to give the local fans some welcome home support having done without a full-time American entrant so far this year.

Doubling up by competing in both MotoAmerica and WorldSBK this weekend, JD Beach is currently fifth in the Superbike standings after ten races and has scored a victory this season at Virginia International Raceway.

Giving the slender entry list a small boost to 19 riders, it has also been confirmed that Markus Reiterberger will return to the saddle at BMW after being forced to miss Donington Park through illness.
