THIS HORRENDOUS first corner Race One crash at this weekend's WSB round at Monza left German rider Max Neukirchner and Australian ace Brendan Roberts both seriously injured.
From the short clip it appears that Neukirchner was hit by Roberts, while braking for the first chicane. Both Neukirchner and Roberts suffered suspected broken femurs.
BMW's Troy Corser managed to escape injury, despite the Australian's S1000RR superbike catching fire.
