GasGas has announced its technical support package for privateers using the Spanish brand’s machinery at the 2023 Scottish Six Days Trial.

The 2023 Scottish Six Day Trial is set to run from 30 April to 6 May, meaning there are only around six weeks until one of the most important events in British off-road motorcycling begins.

GasGas has a history of offering privateer support for GasGas-mounted riders at the race, and did so last year. It also took the top privateer from the 2022 race, Tom Minta, put him on a GasGas enduro machine, and sent him to Erzberg for the 2022 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo.

For 2023, GasGas returns to the event with technical support and services available to all riders using its own equipment, aiming to help as many GasGas-mounted competitors get to the finish of what it describes as “clearly … [the] toughest trial event on the planet.”

In addition to the support provided throughout the event, GasGas will supply its riders with a collection of “SSDT essentials,” it says in a press release, at the beginning of the event. Further, GasGas says that “throughout the week we'll be rewarding special efforts from GasGas riders.”

Exactly what those “rewards” are, or will be, is not clear, but signing up for those heading to Scotland at the end of next month with a GasGas motorcycle is relatively simple. All that is required is registration via an online form, and the registration period is now open.
