Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition officially announced

Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition features upgraded suspension, a new windscreen, heated seats, heated grips, luggage and more

Norden 901 Expedition 2023

THIS bike isn’t really much of a surprise to regular readers of Visordown – as we reported on it in January – but the Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition officially arrives.

The new model bears an all-new look compared to the stock Norden 901 we road some time ago. It’s been lightly upgraded, with new hardware to help make it a more travel-ready adventure motorcycle. The most significant upgrade comes in the form of new suspension, with WP XPLOR forks and XPLOR PDS rear shock absorber boasting 240mm of travel – 20mm more than the stock bike. As with the standard machine, the suspension on the Norden 901 Expedition is fully adjustable, with preload, compression and rebound damping control.

The cockpit of the bike has been upgraded for long-distance comfort, with a new larger front screen fitted as standard. Backing this up are adjustable heated grips and rider seat. Furthering the machine’s adventure touring credentials is pre-fitted soft luggage, with 36-litres of carrying capacity found in the two sub-frame-mounted panniers.

Over the stock Norden, the Expedition also gains a centre stand as standard, a heavy-duty engine guard, and a Bluetooth connectivity module to allow on-bike calls and comms’ and turn-by-turn navigation.

The 2023 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition will be landing in dealerships in mid-March and is available to order today on the official website. The bike is priced at £13,599, making it around £900 more than the base model bike going by the RRP.
