Peter Hickman was declared the winner of the 2019 Isle of Man TT Superbike race, but the event was prematurely halted due to an incident at Snugborough.
Sadly, during the incident 27-year-old English rider Daley Mathison died due to injuries sustained in the crash. And on lap 3 of the 4 lap Superbike race, the session was red flagged.
The 2019 Superbike top three race result mirrors that of last years, with Peter Hickman’s and Dean Harrison’s fierce rivalry continuing on from 2018. By the end of lap two, the gap between the pair was a mere 1.7 seconds.
