OK, IT'S FOUR wheels and not two - but check this footage of motorcycle stunt ace Travis Pastrana seeing in the new year with the world's longest ever jump in a rally car.
Driving a fully-kitted Subaru, Pastrana leapt 269 feet from a pier in Long Beach, California, landing on a custom platform anchored in the harbour. As you'll see from the video, the run up is huge, which is more than can be said for the landing area. Poor old Subaru.
Pastrana, known best for his daring motorcycle stunts, celebrated his world record by backflipping into the harbour. This time minus a motorcycle.
