A CUSTOM bike builder and sprint racer's van was stolen during last weekend's Bike Shed London show.
While Toshi Kozaka and the Switch Stance Racing team were exhibiting his sprint racer at the Tobacco Docks show his van was stolen. Inside was all the team's race gear - helmets, suits, tools, spare parts, apparel - as well as credit cards and €2000 in cash.
Kozaka is the only Japanese participant to this year Sultans of Sprint challenge and his team had worked hard over the past two years to be able to afford to race in the European series.
A page on the french equivalent of GoFundMe, Leetchi, has been set up to help the team recover the costs, with almost €1,800 donated in just two days.
