Mid-life crisis biker myth exploded

MEN ON the brink of a mid-life crisis are more likely to run a marathon or climb a mountain rather than buy a motorbike or sports car, a recent survey has revealed.

Half of the 2,000 men aged 35 to 55 interviewed in the survey had set themselves some form of physically challenging target in the past year.

Many were keen to improve their fitness, shed weight and raise money for charity. But up to a third fail to complete their chosen goal for reasons varying from lack of fitness to lack of commitment.

That's a bit of handy ammunition to fire at the 'ooh, you must be having a mid-life crisis' brigade, eh?
