MARIA COSTELLO - the former female outright lap record holder for the Isle of Man TT - has been honoured by the Queen with an MBE.
The 31-year-old, whose lap record was smashed by Jenny Tinmouth at this year's TT, was awarded the honour for her services to motorcycling in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.
