Last chance to own a BMW HP2 Sport
Only 20 of the boxer twins left in the UK
UK'S arm of BMW Motorrad are having a clear-out of the HP2 Sport as only 20 remain in stock.
Living under the High Performance of the Bavarian firms model range, the BMW HP2 Sport was launched in 2008 and was the first production motorcycle to feature a double overhead cam Boxer engine, a quickshifter and a self-support carbon fibre seat unit.
The Boxer twin produces 133bhp and weighs 199kg fully fuelled. Achieved by combining carbon fibre and Kevlar bodywork with a lightweight chassis and the first DOHC Boxer engine.
Design elements include a MotoGP-style dashboard with lap timer, forged aluminium wheels, Brembo brakes with radially mounted calipers and specially developed Öhlins front and rear suspension units.
To demonstrate their first fully-focussed sports bike and before it was sold, the HP2 Sport had a sporting pedigree taking a class victory in the 24 hour endurance race at Le Mans.
The HP2 Sport has an RRP of £15,250 and BMW are currently running a 'Try it, Buy it, Win it' opportunity to come away with a free bike. Possibly the perfect chance to grab a future classic.
