Harley fans to hit Butlins

Company to celebrate 105th year in motorcycling

OVER 5,000 visitors are expected to descend on Butlins at Minehead in

Somerset next July to commemorate significant anniversaries for

Harley-Davidson and the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.).

The celebration will mark the 105th anniversary of the legendary Motor

Company and the 25th anniversary of the world's largest

manufacturer-supported enthusiast club. A range of motorcycles with limited

edition anniversary paint schemes have already been launched. They are

available in all authorised Harley-Davidson UK dealerships.

A final programme of events for the anniversary celebration is yet to be

confirmed. Prices for weekend tickets start at £100 per person and include three nights' bedand breakfast accommodation from Friday 4 July to Sunday 6 July 2008 and access to all on-site entertainment.

Although prices have been discounted for H.O.G. members supplements may

apply for rooms booked at less than occupancy. Tickets for single days or

nights are not available.

"2008 is a very important year for Harley-Davidson and HOG," says

Harley-Davidson UK Marketing Manager Greg Willis. "We're looking forward to

creating a memorable event to commemorate such an important anniversary with

our customers and all Harley-Davidson enthusiasts."

"HOG has a fantastic community feel," says, H.O.G. UK Manager Marjorie Ragg,

"so this type of event at Butlins is the perfect way to celebrate an

anniversary. We are expecting a huge uptake and are working very hard to

make this event a huge success."

full programme of events will be released when available.
