Harley-Davidson and Bonhams to auction LiveWire COVID-19 charity

Harley-Davidson and Bonhams have teamed up to sell a one-of-one LiveWire in aid of United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 fund

HARLEY-DAVIDSON and auctioneer Bonhams are to host an exclusive auction this month that will see a unique LiveWire electric motorcycle go under the hammer for COVID-19 charity.

The proceeds of the sale will go to the United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund.

Harley-Davidson LiveWire electric motorcycle review:

The LiveWire that is up for auction features a one-off paint scheme and unique graphics package created by the Harley-Davidson styling and design team. The bike also features a shed load of carbon fibre parts and Accessories including carbon fibre Speed Screen Blade, Tail Section Cowl, and Tank Trim, and the motorcycle will be signed by members of the Davidson family.

The LiveWire model being auctioned is number 500 of the 500 “First Strike” edition LiveWire electric motorcycles. The First Strike edition LiveWire models are specially numbered versions created to celebrate the first 500 units produced by Harley-Davidson. This bike, thanks to its colour scheme and graphics, is unique in the set being truly, one-of-one.

The estimate for the bike is between £28 and £36k, making the one-off, ultra-limited edition bike seem good value – with the standard LiveWire coming in at around £28k. Although you’re still going to have to really want one to land it in your garage! Here's hoping there are some electric motorcycle fans out there with deep pockets!
