ISLE of Man TT racer Guy Martin will soon be back on our screens with two new TV shows lined up.
The first series, which will air in October on Channel 4, will follow a two-year restoration project of a Spitfire plane. This will be followed by series two of Speed, due to air over winter.
Channel 4 is also running an internet-based series called Guy Martin’s Passion for life. It consists of seven-minute episodes on ‘Guy Martin’s complex character, revealing his candid thoughts on the dangers of the Isle of Man TT, and featuring exclusive access to his normally off-limits private life’. The first two episodes are available to watch online now.
Series one of Speed saw Guy ride a pedal bike at over 100mph, set the record for the world’s fastest gravity powered sled and attempt to pilot the fastest ever human-powered aircraft.
