Former Rugby player dies on IoM

Former Wharfedale rugby union player Antony Capstick, 36, known as Clopper, died on Saturday after suffering serious head injuries following a crash at Grahams Memorial on the island's Mountain Road on Friday afternoon.

His wife, Jane Capstick wrote on her Facebook page “I flew out and stayed with him and his brothers all night. Unfortunately he had serious brain damage among many other injuries and they had to turn off the life support machine this morning. RIP my love. Words fail me.”
