If you’ve ever taken on an EU tour, you’ll be familiar with the quandary of how best to get to the stunning roads of southern Spain. The slog down on a bike can be rewarding, but some of the scenery on the way, France and central Spain especially, can be a little uninspiring.
You could also take the boat from the UK to Santander, although that is at least a 24-hour sail, eating into that all-important riding time!
Now though, Focused Events have pulled the covers off a new solution that allows riders to ride the best roads in Europe, on their own bike, with all their luggage shipped ahead of them for added convenience.
To begin with, customers arrive at the airport with just their hand luggage required for the flight, riding gear, spare clothing, and everything else is taken on ahead with your motorcycle. A flight time of around two hours will see the rider (and pillion if required) touching down on Spanish soil. A short transfer of around an hour and guests will arrive at their motorcycle themed 4* hotel, leaving them free to either hit the road or the pool, to relax after the flight.
Four days of riding will include five nights’ accommodation at the Hotel Punta Del Cantal, with breakfast included. Prices start from £699 and include bike and luggage transport, route advice, free hotel parking, and bike washing facilities, and mechanical and tyre support if needed.
