Dealer fined for displaying used bikes outside
Ludicrous fines for dealer who fell foul of an army of plastic police and DVLA contractors, NCP Services
A MANCHESTER-BASED dealer has been charged £1000 by DVLA contractors, NCP Services, after they clamped five of his used motorcycles that he had on display outside of his shop.
Dealer, Roger Sandoe of Road and Race motorcycles was told by an entourage of NCP Services employees, a policeman and two community support officers that his bikes should not be on the highway without displaying a road-fund licence. Sandoe was then told that if he touched the bikes he would be arrested.
Sandoe was then charged £200 a bike to have the clamps released before he could wheel them back into his showroom.
And they wonder why no-one has any respect for the police.
