Crosscage - the future for motorcycling?
Suzuki unveil hydrogen-powered bike
INTELLIGENT ENERGY, the British-based technology company, and Suzuki have unveiled the Crosscage - a hydrogen-powered motorcycle.
The bike is virtually silent and emits pure water, rather than noxious exhaust gasses associated with internal comustion engine. The energy source is claimed to reduce global warming, too.
The company have no specific performance figures for the Crosscage, but sources say the bike's built more for economy than high speed.
When will we see it in the shops? It's unlikely the Crosscage will go into production without a great deal of further development - and even then - the concept will only take off when the market's ready.
