Brit car mag trashes motorcycle of the future

See what happens when you invite a car journo to test a £50,000 motorcycle

BRITISH MOTORING magazine EVO recently tested the Peraves Monotracer - an all-enclosed two-wheel motorcycle of the future - and, like journalists often do, crashed it.

The Swiss-built £50,000 machine is powered by a BMW motorcycle engine and is capable of delivering car-smashing mpg figures, thanks to its light weight and slippery aerodynamic shape.

Check the video: we can't help thinking old matey at the controls has limited motorcycle experience; notice how he keeps the throttle fully wound open while the bike's lying on its side?

Note to Peraves: Invite us next time. We're far better at chucking things up the road.
