BMW'S eagerly awaiting S1000RR road bike was used for the first time as the MotoGP marshall's bike at the Jerez MotoGP.
In a not-so-subtle PR stunt from the Bavarian car giants, the all-new Superbike was paraded around the track wearing a somewhat sedate livery, but the BMW corporate colours, similar to those used on the Boxer Cup Replica were also on a demo bike in pit lane.
