Lignano Sabbiadoro will yet again host Biker Fest International in 2024, for what will be the motorcycle event’s 38th edition.

Biker Fest describes Lignano Sabbiadoro as the “Daytona Beach of Europe” in reference to Bike Week which takes place around the famous Floridian shoreline. All that’s really missing is a 2.5-mile tri-oval to host a Supercross and a 200-mile road race.

Five different areas of the Italian commune will be utilised for this year’s Biker Fest International, which will be headlined by its popular custom event which debuted in 1987. This includes a stop for the AMD Custom Bike Show and the final of 12 dates for the Italian Motorcycle Championship (IMC) Custom Bike Show, “where the most beautiful and unique motorbikes in Europe are exhibited,” Biker Fest International says.

In 2023, there were over 4,000 test rides taken at BFI’s test ride area, which is accompanied by an off-road area. It is not specified which manufacturers will be in attendance, but BFI says that it will have the presence of “all the official motorcycle brands”. The Moto Tours also return in 2024 to give visitors the chance to take in the sights of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.

The e-Mobility Village returns, too, offering test rides and drives of electric-powered two- and four-wheelers.

Non-motorcycling entertainment is provided in the form of 12 separate rock concerts and the Pin Up Contest, which is exactly as it sounds: “Red and blue colours, anchors, bright lipsticks, sailor hats and striped dresses will be the best friends of the fantastic Pin Up girls who will take part in the Pin Up Contest,” the BFI website reads.

The 38th edition of Biker Fest International takes place between 9-12 May 2024.
