Ack Attack sets 376mph unofficial record

High-speed attempt to be ratified by FIM

A STREAMLINER motorcycle has set an unofficial new land speed record of 376.363mph, beating the existing record by just under 10mph.

The new record, set by Rocky Robinson in Ack Attack Streamliner, was set at the Top Speed Shootout at the Bonneville Salt Flats on September 25, 2010.

Robinson recorded a run of 376.363 mph, bettering Chris Carr's previous record of 367.382. Read Visordown's full story on the BUB Streamliner.

The team say the streamlined machine exited the 11-mile course travelling at 394 mph, so 400mph can't be far off.
