The Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show is set to take place later this month, and tickets are currently available at a discounted price.

The 2022 Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show (CMMS) will take place at the Staffordshire County Showground (ST18 0BD) on 15-16 October 2022. Gates will open from 9:30am on both days.

The CMMS says there will be “thousands of beautiful classic bikes for you to observe in awe, with hundreds of motorcycle clubs bringing their best fleets.”

Some of the bikes that will be present at the Show’s Suzuki stand (located in Naughty Nineties Hall, at stands S2 & S3) will be the British Superbike-spec GSX-R1000 K4 of John Reynolds from 2004; World Superbike-spec GSX-R1000 K5 of Troy Corser from 2005; RSV250 XR94; TL1000SK1; GSX-R1100L; Bandit 600; DR800 ‘Dr. Big’; and a first generation Hayabusa.

Of course, the K4 of Reynolds and the K5 of Corser were both champions in their respective series. For Reynolds, the K4 brought him the last of his three BSB titles, while Corser won his second WorldSBK title with the K5, nine years on from his first title in 1996.

Further, there will be modern Suzukis to take a look at, too, with a current generation Hayabusa; GSX-S1000GT; and the latest Katana model.

Continuing the Suzuki theme, ex-Grand Prix racer (1990 250cc World Champion) and 1997 World Superbike Champion John Kocinski will be present at the event, along with other “celebrity guests,” CMMS says.

Finally, there will be a wealth of additional entertainment available, including an FMX display from the Boldog FMX team; live music; retro gaming; and a bar which CMMS says will “have your favourite beers on tap.”

You can book your tickets here, and if you book before 8:30am on 10 October they are available at the discounted price of £3.
