Ducati Panigale V4 named 2025 Good Design Award winner
The Panigale V4 completes a trio of prestigious global design awards, adding Chicago’s historic Good Design Award to its 2025 wins.
The Ducati Panigale V4 has added another trophy to the cabinet, this time scooping the 2025 Good Design Award and completing a clean sweep of three of the world’s biggest design gongs.

Already a winner of the 2025 iF Design Award and 2025 Red Dot Award, the Panigale’s latest silverware comes courtesy of the Good Design Award – one of the longest-running and most respected prizes in global industrial design.
Founded in Chicago in 1950 by design heavyweights Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames, and now backed by the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, the award is about as blue-chip as it gets in the world of design.
For Ducati, it’s more than just another plaque for the wall, as it underlines just how seriously the Borgo Panigale firm takes its styling and product design.
Pitching aerodynamics, performance and ergonomics against each other, the latest Panigale V4 is a superbike shaped as much by wind tunnels and race data as by sketchbooks. The design brief was to take the spirit of the 916 and reinterpret it for a modern era, which is dominated by World Superbike-derived tech and aero development.
Andrea Ferraresi, Ducati Strategy and Centro Stile Director, says the award reinforces the brand’s core philosophy, to build bikes that hit you emotionally at first glance, then back it up once the wheels are turning.
